Gate City over Appalachia
Burton over Coeburn
Clintwood over Powell Valley
Wise/Pound Toss Up, too close to call

i agree with gate city and burton, but i'm going with powell valley and kelly. I think the kelly defense will give some people some trouble in the tourney.

I agree While GC and Norton are the best 2 teams going into this week no team looks like a "Lock" to win the turnament from the #1 seed all the way down to #8 are all capable

Because there has been so much "up and down" this year in the LPD teams, I wouldn't be surprised at all to see at least one upset in the LPD tourney. In fact, I'm kind of expecting it.

I do think that the Lady Blue Devils probably have as close to a "lock" on the LPD tournament as anyone can have since no other district team has come close to beating them. I don't know if they have what it takes to repeat as state champions, but they would be my odds-on favorite to win the girls Region D championship. But, who knows, they may very well be the team that is upset!

Wise Nips Pound in a close one

Gate City over Appy.....Hackney and company to much for the Bulldogs.
Coeburn over Burton........Adkins has big night and sinks the Raiders on their own court.
PV over Clintwood......PV shows up and decides to play some basketball tonight.
Pound over Wise......I believe Fleming and Bolling will take over this game and dominate Wise......
